Kiwifruit Flower Thinning and Tip Crushing – Seasonal Orchard Work (October – November)
Join our team this season and play an important role in producing premium New Zealand kiwifruit. This role involves two key tasks:
- Flower thinning – carefully removing trebles, misshapen or damaged flowers to ensure only the best remain, helping balance crop load and achieve the right fruit size and quality.
- Tip crushing – managing the vine’s growth tips to encourage stronger fruit development and improve overall orchard performance.
You’ll receive guidance and support from a Quality Supervisor, who will provide clear instructions to help you complete each task to the highest standard.
This role is well-suited to people who enjoy working outdoors, can follow directions carefully, and take pride in producing quality results. Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude will help you succeed in this hands-on orchard work.
